Lily at 4-H camp.
Doing her group's song for the parents on the last day. They sang "Do Your Ears Hang Low?".
Wyatt at baseball.
Lily helping to paint the basement. She did a really great job!
On second base.
With her group counselor and her friend Camille.
What a busy week. Lily had 4-H camp Tues, Wed and Thurs. I tell you, she has a busier social schedule than I ever had! Yesterday, she had 4-H camp, a birthday party and then went to VBS with a friend. Her day went non-stop from 9 am til 10:00 pm! Today I took Rachel and Wyatt to the free movie that our local theater does every week. It was "Wallace and Grommet-The Curse of the Were-Rabbit". It was very enjoyable. Very cool claymation. Wyatt had already seen it-but he liked it and is always up for a movie at the movie theater! We went with our friends and went to lunch and the library after. I love the library-it is so relaxing to me. I think we will go a lot this summer. I had a book I wanted to read transferred, so I went to pick it up. It's called "No Excuses" by Kyle Maynard. It's an amazing story. Wyatt and I are going to read it together. I think it has some very good "life lessons" in it. Wyatt got books by one of his favorite authors, Roald Dahl. He just finished "James and the Giant Peach" and loved it--so we got the movie to watch, too. I also got some easy summer reading--a 4 book series by V.C Andrews.
Amy, I could use some good book recommendations to look for next time I'm there. I know you've read some good ones lately. I hear of all these books I want to read, but I can't seem to remember any of them when I'm at the library.
Anyway, we have NOWHERE to be tomorrow and I'm SO excited!!!
