At the lake.
We went swimming at Mary's pool (she's the teacher I work with). She has a super nice pool in her yard.
We went to Morse Beach today. It's a beach area at the lake right here in town that we boat on. They have a diving board that you can swim out to. The kids loved it. I looked up once and Lily was doing flips off of it!
Here's Wyatt going off.
The girls on the beach.

Lily with Savannah and Emma at our pool-----George Washington hairdos!!
Lily and Rachel tubing.
Wyatt driving the boat.

Relaxing on a hot day!!

Wyatt and his buddy Patrick that he played with all week. We were so lucky this year and the family right next to us on the beach had kids our kids' ages. They come that same week every year and we were a week later than usual. We decided we will always go that week from now on. It'll be neat for the kids to have "beach friends" to see every year.
Lily and Patrick's brother, Thomas. They got along SO well.

The view from our balcony.

The gang digging a hole.
Mini golf.
This is where we parked ourselves every day while the kids played.

Wyatt rode this roller coaster. It was his first really big coaster. I drug him on there and basically forced him to ride it, knowing he would love it. Then we rode it 2 more times---he LOVED it! It was all set to Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love" and it was the best roller coaster I have ever ridden. The had video cameras in the seats so we have our whole ride on video. The video of Wyatt going up the hill the first time is priceless. I tried to download it and couldn't. I'll try again.

Breakfast on the balcony-our favorite.

There was a beautiful full moon one night at the beach. I took these from the balcony of our condo. It was so pretty the way the clouds were moving over the moon.

We stopped in Gatlinburg, TN on our way to the beach. It was a highlight of vacation for the kids. They had never been there before. We rode the ski lift(not my favorite, but I braved it) up the mountain. It was an awesome view at the top. We walked around town a bit then headed to Asheville, NC where we spent the night. We happened upon a fun BBQ place called the Fiddlin' Pig where we ate dinner. They had a live bluegrass band and cloggers!! It turned out to be a super fun day and one we hadn't even planned! Sometimes those are the best!

This guy was fishing on the beach on the last day of our vacation, right in front of our chairs. This is what he reeled in. He was only cast about 15 feet out----exactly where we swim!! We think it's a baby hammerhead. It was about 3 feet long---not so small!! A brave guy picked him up by his tail and threw him back. He washed back in like he was dead, so he threw him back further. We didn't see him again, so, hopefully he made it. Needless to say, we were a bit leary of the water the rest of the day, although we did go back in.
