Lily's friend Leia, who recently moved to China, called last night. They had called and left a message while we were out and Lily was so disappointed that she missed it when we got home. We tried them back and got them. It was 8:30 pm Friday night here and 9:30 am Saturday morning there. Weird. The kids thought that was cool. They talked for quite a while. Some of the things they said were so cute-I wish I would have recorded it!

I'm assuming that she moved to China for a job? Is she going to an English school? Abby has a friend, Fiona, that moved to Korea a year ago. She goes to school with all these American kids over there. Kind of neat. I'm sure it takes a little of the fear out of starting school there to know you are going with lots of kids like you are.

Yes, they moved for her Dad's job and are supposed to be there about 1 1/2 years. They do go to an international school(people from all over, but a lot of Americans) and live in an American neighborhood. Still, it's going to be very different for them!
