We stopped in Gatlinburg, TN on our way to the beach. It was a highlight of vacation for the kids. They had never been there before. We rode the ski lift(not my favorite, but I braved it) up the mountain. It was an awesome view at the top. We walked around town a bit then headed to Asheville, NC where we spent the night. We happened upon a fun BBQ place called the Fiddlin' Pig where we ate dinner. They had a live bluegrass band and cloggers!! It turned out to be a super fun day and one we hadn't even planned! Sometimes those are the best!
