She got to open some smaller gifts from grandparents.
The Ruby Bridges presentation. What an amazing story-they have been learning all about Ruby, Ryan White, and Anne Frank. Lily has been very interested in all of their stories. They had a big exhibit that included all of them. It was very interesting.
She requested her favorite breakfast---homemade chocolate chip(actually a broken up dark chocolate candy bar) pancakes.
The cartoon area----very cool.
Cutie-pie
She entered a jump roping contest-she got to 46-not bad!
My group and I.

Lily had a great---if not busy---birthday today. I can't believe my baby is 9! She is SUCH an amazing girl and I am so blessed to already have the relationship I do with her. It is very special. She totally lights up my life with her energetic, free spirited nature and her zest for life!
Here's a rundown of the day:
Up at 6.
Get Wyatt off to school.
Make homemade pancakes and let Lily unwrap a present(Crocs flip-flops and markers to color Crocs).
Leave for school early to vote---no lines--yay!
Get to school and immediately leave for field trip to the Children's Museum---which was great!
How great is my job? I got to go on a field trip with my daughter and get paid for it! I did go as a teacher and had a group of 10 to take around. Luckily, they were great.
Get home and take Lily to dance.
Pick Lily up from dance and head directly to Panera for dinner---she loves that place. Take presents with us because it's the only time she'll have to open them!
Drop Wyatt off at Youth Group.
Head straight to PTO meeting.
Stay after meeting for a budget meeting.
Get home just in time to tuck the birthday girl in.
WHEW!!!
Her party is Saturday and she is so excited!
